Born and raised in the Midwest, I moved to North Carolina to study at Warren Wilson College. I've lived in Asheville, NC since graduating. I am a hobby welder, car mechanic, carpenter, electrician, and home fixer-upper, I'm excited to take anything apart and see what's inside.
I came to computers pretty late, it wasn't until I was doing research and development on glazes for East Fork Pottery in 2016 did I realize this passion. It all started with writing macros for a spreadsheet and snowballed into so much more. I am currently a database admin for the same company and loving it, certainly a logical next step for me from spreadsheets. Outside of my day job I'm obsessed with information security and am starting to do training in this field.
